Let me give you a little tip 03 Aug

This week’s slice of advice comes from Lindsey Vigurs who is a tutor at Ministry of Craft.

‘I use MontanaBLACK spray paints to liven up old ornaments and vintage crockery. Make a simple stencil from adhesive vinyl (or even paper and a light coating of spray mount) and then spray your chosen item with two coats of paint in a tasteful, gaudy or neon colour. Do this outside or in a very well ventilated area. Let the first coat dry before spraying the next one, and when the second coat is dry you can peel off the stencil taking care not to scratch your lovely paint job. Et voila! Something new from something old with a little help from Fred Aldous.’
