Bankley Open Call 2015 09 Sep

We are pleased to support The Bankley Open Call for the third year running. This year we will be supporting the ‘People’s Prize’ where audience members can chose their favourite piece with the winning artist being awarded £100 in Fred Aldous vouchers.

The Bankley Open Call 2015 returns for the third year. The annual open exhibition once again invites contemporary artists of any age or experience living within the UK, and working in any 2D media, video, or sculpture, to participate and be in with a chance of winning our first prize of £400 and a solo show at Bankley Gallery next year. We have a second prize of £100 and a month long residency in our project space.

The selection of work and award of prizes will be made by an impressive panel:

Bryony Bond – Curator, The Whitworth
Matthew Pendergast – Programme Manager, Castlefield Gallery
Paul Stanley – Programme and Engagement Coordinator, CFCCA
Holly Rowan Hesson – Artist, winner of Bankley Open Call 2014
