Meet a Maker - Mr Woody Woods

To help you celebrate Valentine’s, Gal-entine’s or Palentine’s, we decided that we wanted to spread a lil’ love with our displays this February. To give our Manchester window the look of love, we enlisted the bold and colourful designs of Art Director and Illustrator, Mr Woody Woods.



Best known for designing characters, hand drawn type and paper craft pieces, his art appeals to children and big children alike however, his latest work, ‘Love Explosion’ encourages passerby to pucker up and take a selfie in front of it.

Partnering with the renowned paper folk at G.F Smith, Mr Woody Woods used their bold Colorplan range to create his design. Each element of Love Explosion has been laser cut then finished with some hand drawn doodling - before piecing it all together like a puzzle.

This impressive paper craft piece will be on display in our Manchester window throughout February and if you’ve fallen for the design, then you can take away a little piece for yourself with the Pucker Up Riso print greetings card.
