Instructions:

1. Cut 1 metre (40 inches) of the Brown Bead Thread.
2. Use pliers to attach the 5mm Jump ring to the Antique Gold Leaf Bead.
3. Thread the Bead Thread through the Jump ring with leaf bead attached.
4. Then fold Bead thread length in half so that the leaf bead & jump ring sit in the middle of the necklace.
5. Approximately 6cms from the middle of the necklace tie a knot.
6. Then thread a 10mm Wood bead on one end of the bead thread (either length).
7. Then tie another knot on this end of the bead thread approximately 4cms from the previous knot.
8. Thread another 10mm wood bead on this end of the bead thread.
9. Tie another knot 4cms away from previous knot.
10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you reach the end of the necklace. This should work out at appoximately 7 knots.
11. Then go back to step 7 and repeat for the other end of the necklace.
12. You can create a fastener with a bead and loop as shown here:

This is done by threading the bead thread through a wood bead and tying off. Then on the other end of the necklace create a loop just big enough to fit a bead through and tie with a slip knot, so that it can be adjusted.
13. You now have a necklace that looks natural and ready to wear for a special occasion.
