Using Polymorph

Basic instructions for Polymorph

Polymorph is an amazing product, it's a plastic polymer that softens and melts in hot water (62C). It can then be shaped and moulded by hand and sets hard like nylon as it cools. It's also Biodegradable in soil. Please note this is not a toy and NOT recommended for children.

White Polymorph granules 350gms

Instructions:

We have made a short film on how to melt polymorph and use it in a mould, alternatively simply follow our step by step instructions:

1. Fill a container/cup with freshly boiled water.

2. Pour some of the polymorph granules into the container.

3. Wait until the granules become transparent. Once transparent the polymorph is ready to be shaped.

4. Carefully remove the polymorph from the water with a spoon and squeeze out any excess water. Take care if using your hands as the polymorph will be hot!

5. Either use the spoon or you hands to press the polymorph into a mould or onto an object.

6. If you are filling a large mould with polymorph repeat the steps above until you have covered the inside of the mould. Polymorph will stick to itself therefore once it has cooled it will make a solid plastic object.

7. Allow the polymorph to cool completely, wait until it returns to an opaque white colour.

8. Carefully remove from the mould or object.
