Materials

Small Square Cards S/F White 10Pk
Double Sided Tape 3mm X 50Mt
Emb Beads - Foil Lined - Lt Blue - 6G Pkt (Approx 350 Beads)
Cup Sequins 5mm - Ab Crystal - 2G Pkt (Approx 150 Sequins)
Card Makers Superfine Glitter Holographic in Silver
A1233 Beading Needles (6)
Nymo Thread in white
• A Peice of white paper for insert

These quantities are enough to make at least 10 Cards.

Instructions:

1. Take one small square card in white, sew 1 sequin small cup 5mm abc and 1 embroidery bead light blue on to the card in a random pattern working from the back.
2. To sew the sequin & bead on the card take a length of nymo thread approx 12-14” or 300mm-350mm, thread on to a beading needle, tying a knot onto the thread at the other end.
3. Now push the needle through the card, pulling all the thread through the card, working on the front of the card, thread one sequin small cup 5mm abc and one embroidery bead light blue onto the nymo thread, go back through the sequin again trapping the bead in place in the middle of the sequin, carry on sewing the sequins and beads all over the card until you are pleased with the result. (see Fig. 1)
4. Taking the card with the embroidery sequin and beads, stick 3mm double sided tape on to all edges of the front of the card. Then peel off the yellow backing from the double sided tape all the way round the card, careful not to touch the exposed tape.
5. Taking the card makers glitter holographic silver, sprinkle onto all of the tape surface, tapping surface of the card, pour the excess back into the pot. Tip: Use a plastic storage box with nice deep sides to contain your card whilst pouring the glitter over the tape. This makes it easier to then tip the excess from the plastic storage box back into your pot of glitter.
6. Cut a piece of white paper large enough to cover the whole of the inside of the card. This is to cover the back of your sewing, i.e. inside your card.
7. Place double sided tape all the way round the edge of the card where you sewing is visible. i.e. left hand side of card when open.
8. Stick your piece of white paper onto this tape, covering all the back of your sewing, leaving the other side as a card insert. You might like to place a sticker sentiment of your choice onto this insert.
