Postage – Distance Selling and refunds

Incorrect use or unexpected side effects:

We accept no responsibility for damage caused by incorrect use or manufacturing deficiencies of any of the products we sell. Any items you buy from us and use is done so entirely at your own risk.

UK Mainland:

Orders over £40 are subject to free postage and packing (if the order is above 10KG in weight we may waive the free postage offer without prior notice)

Our minimum UK Mainland postage charge is £4.00 this is for items weighing up to 1.49 Kilos, which will be sent by Royal Mail 1st class post.

UK Mainland “Express Postage”

If you require your order urgently select the 'UK Express' delivery from the shopping basket page. If you place the order before 12pm your order will be dispatched the same day (excludes weekends and public holidays) and will be guaranteed for delivery the next working day (excludes weekends and public holidays)

UK Express delivery orders are sent by carrier and require the signature of someone at the delivery address.

We will contact you if there are any problems with your order.

If you are in Northern Ireland or Southern Ireland:

Select 'Northern Ireland' or 'Southern Ireland' as appropriate, your postage charge will then be calculated based on the weight of the items in your basket.

If you are in Europe:

Select 'Europe' and proceed. Your delivery charge will be added if your order weighs less than 2 kilo's. If it weighs more than this the charge will be £50.

We are able to deliver to the following European countries: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Faeroe Islands, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Holy See, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Moldova (Republic of), Romania, San Marino, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Macedonia (The Former Yugoslav Republic of), Ukraine, Yugoslavia.

If you are in Australia, New Zealand or the Falkland Islands (Malvinas):

Select 'Overseas' and proceed. Your delivery charge will be calculated once your order has been received and picked at our warehouse. The delivery charge on anything over 500g will be £50.

Please note other than the European countries listed above we can only deliver to Australia, New Zealand and the Falkland Islands (Malvinas).

We do not deliver to the USA or Canada.

Returns

If you don’t want it, send it back to us within 90 days of ordering and we’ll happily refund the value of the goods. Postage charges will not be refunded on unwanted items.

To be eligible for a refund the goods must be unopened or unused in any way at all.  We must be able to resell the goods for full value once returned to us.

If returns arrive in poor or unsalable condition the refund will not be available.

You are responsible for ensuring the goods are returned to us. Fred Aldous Ltd will not be liable for returns that are lost in the post or lost for any other reason.
