Dylon Pre Dye (Colour Stripper)500ml

Dylon Pre Dye (Colour Stripper)removes colour from fabric so that it is suitable for dyeing to a lighter colour. Some colours i.e.bright green and blue, royal blue, turquoise and indigo (denim), may not be suitable for treatment. If in doubt first test a small sample from hem or seam. Instructions : NB - Dylon Fabric Colour Stripper is not recommended for polyester, acrylic or acetate fabrics, or fabrics with a special finish such as waterproofing or dry clean only. IMPORTANT: Always use Dylon Fabric Colour Stripper in a well ventilated area. (See special notes for wool and silk), 1.Remove any metal parts from articles and weigh. 2.Soak articles in warm water 3.Fill flame or rust proof vessel with very

hot water 4.Dissolve Dylon Fabric Colour Stripper in warm water and add to vessel. (See table on tub) 5.Add articles to vessel and immerse completely. 6.Bring to the boil and simmer, stirring constantly. Continue until colour removal is complete, or for 30 minutes, whichever is sooner. 7.Rinse well. Hot wash with wash powder. Rinse again thoroughly. WOOL and SILK:1.Handle gently. Start with lukewarm water only. 2.Do not boil - bring to simmer only and maintain simmer for 20 minutes stirring constantly, then turn off heat. Allow to cool for 10 minutes whilst still in the vessel. 3.Remove article from the vessel and allow to cool before rinsing in warm water. Wash by normal method and rinse thoroughly.
