Q. how do I use this product on gold leaf silver effect?

A. This product is designed for use with a gold background and has warm tones. It would be ok on silver but depending on what effect you want it might be better to use a rub and buff such as ebony: http://www.fredaldous.co.uk/rub-n-buff-ebony.html
