Glass Etching Cream can be silk screened. Contains hydrofluoric acid but will not etch flashed glass. Hydrofluoric acid is an extremely corrosive liquid and is a contact poison. It should be handled with extreme care, Flashed glass is where two different colours of glass have been fused together.

Q. Can this cream be used with a stencil, and if so, what material should the stencil be cut from?

A. We use sticky backed plastic, or masking tape.
Q. how much hydrofluoric acid is in this stuff and does it say that on the instructions

A. Contains 2.5mg/m3 of Hydrofluoric Acid and 1.0mg/m3 of Sulphuric Acid. The instruction mentions the content of hydrofluoric acid but not the amount.
