12 x 22ml tubes of Liquitex Basics Acrylic Colour. This Set contains a range of colours which will give the student or beginner the freedom to experiment with high quality, inexpensive paints. The colours included are: Alzarin Crimson Hue Permanent, Primary Red, Cadmium Orange Hue, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Primary Yellow, Light Green Permanent, Phthalocyanine Green, Primary Blue, Dioxazine Purple, Ivory Black and Titanium White. Liquitex Basics use the same binder as Liquitex professional quality acrylics, but with cheaper pigment blends, making them more affordable. They can be used for a variety of techniques from watercolour, airbrush, and printmaking to thick applications that simulate oil paint, and can be applied on various surfaces such as canvas, clay, wood and paper. When dry, these acrylic paints are permanent, water-resistant, and flexible. Colours dry to a satin-matte finish that brings out colour intensity without adding unwanted surface glare. Each colour is uniquely formulated to bring out the maximum brilliance and clarity of the pigment. Their heavy viscosity allows for thick oil-like painting, retaining peaks and brush marks.
