Use on finished pewter articles to age the product. Pewter patina is used to darken pewter sheet. Remove all grease and dirt from the pewter by rubbing well with grease remover on some damp cotton wool or similar. Wash and dry. Shake the bottle of patina and apply with a paint brush until almost black or very dark brown. When dry, wash off with water and buff the highlights with grease remover. For a brighter finish use metal polish. To preserve the shine coat with metal lacquer.
