I am a kiln fired artist and I use the pewter to make embellishments for my china and jewellery to be attached after the firing process. I have demonstrated with this product and recommended to my students to get their pewter from Fred Aldous.

This is good sheet pewter - used for jewellery making by raising a pattern and /or setting a stone.

Quality of pewter is excellent. I use it to make pushed out designs which then become many different things. E.g. Box lids, photo frames, clocks etc.
It's a very enjoyable and therapeutic craft.
Would recommend it.

I use the sheet pewter to replicate metal work on plastic model aircraft. it is an excellent product ,soft, easy to work and it`s big advantage is it can be darkened to represent hot metal. I am a professional model maker and it is a product I cannot do without.
