The whitest and most opaque of the range, it is in many ways a modern replacement for Flake White. However, because of its strength it may overwhelm weaker more transparent colours. Whilst it is a fairly slow drier, it is popular as a mixing white and probably the most widely accepted white in use. Made mainly from titanium dioxide, it has a little zinc oxide added to improve film properties. Winton Oil Colour 120ml tubes has been developed to provide the highest quality colours at an affordable price. The application of traditional skills and modern colour chemistry techniques has resulted in a range of carefully selected Winton Oil Colours. This has been achieved by replacing some of the more costly traditional pigments with excellent modern alternatives that give high quality at an economical price.
