The ancient Peruvians believed that cotton was puffs of cloud that fell to earth as a gift from the gods. Now sadly, our Shiny Happy Cotton's not made from cloud, but it's soft and full of lustre thanks to Peru's basking sun and fertile soil.
What can I make?
Shiny Happy Cotton is the perfect yarn for those summer knits, or year-round wardrobe classics. Use it for sweaters, dresses and accessories, and of course, it's ideal for baby and kids wear.
Works well with the Garter Stitch, Moss Stitch, Stocking Stitch, single crochet, double crochet.
Composition: 100% Cotton.
Yarn Weight: 100 gram ball = 142 metres (155 yards) Aran/Worsted.
Tension Swatch: 18sts / 24 rows in stocking stitch on 5mm (US8) needles.
Suggested Knitting Needle Size: 3.5mm - 8mm / US 4 - US 11.
Suggested Crochet Hook Size: 3.5mm - 6.5mm / US 4 - US 10.5
Washing Instructions: Safe to machine wash but do it on a cold cycle to keep the best colour and shape of your pieces or hand wash to last longer (and to save water) / Dry flat.
