Lame Thread

A hand embroidery thread, made up of 12 strands of divisible metallic threads. Two strands of Lame are equivalent to one strand of Stranded Cotton. This thread can be used to work Cross Stitch, back stitch, freestyle embroidery, couching or Gold Work or 1 strand can be blended with Stranded Cotton to highlight chosen areas.
