Paul asked on 05/07/2015:
I recently bought some stone powder from you and I'm happy with the results. Is it possible to fine sand the product once set with, say wet & dry and, if so, what would you recommend?
Yes you can sand set stone powder with wet & dry.
Your Name *Ali asked on 12/06/2013:
Please would you be able to let me know what the stone powder comprises of - e.g. is it a mortar based powder??? thanks
It is a hard plaster.
kirsty asked on 23/03/2013:
Is stone powder waterproof or can it be made so?
If its going to be outside, I recommend a smooth masonry paint to use over the top once cast is dry. This is available in all good hard ware shops.
Mrs.Barrett asked on 06/09/2011:
Can this product be coloured (before casting) and if so what with?
It is not advisable to add colour to the stone powder/water mix as it may change the drying time and stability of the finished product. It will also be extremely difficult to achieve bright colours as the hues are all lightened by the white mix. For the best result, cast the stone powder, leave to dry and then paint with acrylic paint.
Dave Warbis asked on 03/08/2011:
What ratio of stone powder to water should I use to make a model chess set?
1 part water to 3 parts powder, ie: 33:100
