Details
All purpose Silicone rubber for mould making, 1kg pack (includes catalyst). Can be coloured using Winton Oil Paint. Ideal for body casts from alginate. Instructions: 1. Stir silicone well before use. 2. Shake catalyst before use. 3. The mix ratio is 100 parts silicone to 4 parts catalyst by weight. 4. Weigh the correct amount silicone into a clean container, weigh the correct amount of catalyst and mix evenly. If you have a problem with air bubbles in the mix, mix carefu
lly and not too quickly. TIP: Try pouring the silicone into a strong poly bag, add the catalyst, squeeze out the excess air and seal off with tape, then mix in the bag. Allow the rubber to cure for 8 hours before removing from the pattern. For best results allow the mould to air cure for an additional 24 hours before using in production. Silicone moulds can be used to bake polymer clay, while still in the mould. For use with food treat in oven 120c - 130c for 6 to 7 hours.
