This soap dish is made out of 100% recycled plastic waste collected from the community of Brockley. Each soap dish has saved approximately 76g of plastic from entering a flawed recycling system or even incineration or landfill.
Each soap dish has a combination of plastic, from the lids of Fuggles (my dog) treat boxes, bottle lids, butter tubs and everything between. This blend of gold, white, black and deep blue create a almost natural marble effect.
Whilst the Zig Zag is stunning, it was chosen for practical reasons too. This shape will hold the soap above the draining water, keeping it as dry as possible, and ensuring the soap lasts.
Due to the recycling process each dish will be unique. The images are an example as every dish we make has slightly different markings.
