Curated by the women behind Milk and Honey, FIG Collective and Clandestine Collective Arts, Manchester Feminist Freshers Fair aims to bring together Manchester's thriving feminist creative community. The day and evening event will include a programme of art work from Manchester based women artists, as well as film screenings, poetry readings, talks, a zine making workshop, performances, DJ's and a zine fair. We've been working hard to get FA Leeds ready to open, the old walls have come down, we've moved the staircase, painted the floors and now our signature pegboard stands are getting installed.

For their next exhibition offering PLY have flown over Kayla Mattes from America for her solo exhibition, User Interface. Renowned for her Neo ‘90s knitwear collection, cartoon CATZ created from ASC11 art (or text art, to you and us), neon LinkedIn jewellery, woven pizzas (naturally) and now tapestries inspired by a world where smartphones and computers are commonplace.

We have recently started stocking books and stationary by London based publisher Nobrow Press. We've been drooling over the vast range of storytellers and illustrators that are on their books so we thought we should find out a little bit more about their visual storytelling.
