With a history dating back to 1885 it is no surprise that G.F Smith know a thing or two about paper. Founded by George Frederick Smith, the paper company based in Hull has spent the last 130 years producing the finest quality paper and championing the artists, designers and printers that use it. As the worlds of TV, advertising and popular culture changed with this surge of colour, G.F Smith decided to produce a paper range which had the largest offering of colours, weights, size and finished. With the introduction of Colorplan, G.F Smith enabled people working in printed communication to achieve design and advertising styles that previously had not been possible.
