Our Leeds shop turned 10! We celebrated with 10 days of events among creative friends. Throwing a party, holding workshops, and discounting everything in-store. We also collaborated with local artists, including a super limited edition run of collaboration hats (just 10 of each). All flew out before the end of the party. If you managed to snag one, nice work. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it so special.

It only took us over a century, but after plenty of thought, we finally decided to branch out. One county over, to the heart of Leeds.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since we got the keys to our unit on Kirkgate. We can still picture those first few months. Moving the staircase, painting it bright orange, covering the place in pegboard and then filling it with all you need to 'Make Anything'.

Looking back, after all that umming and ahhing, we couldn’t have picked a better spot. A huge thank you to everyone who’s supported Fred Aldous Leeds over the past 10 years! We wouldn't still be here without you. Here’s to spending many more years amongst Yorkshire’s exceptional community of makers and creatives, who’ve all welcomed us so warmly. See you all at the 20th anniversary party, or maybe a smaller do for the 15th! Either way, expect plenty of Northern Monk tipple.
