Tara regularly pursues personal projects in both fabric banners and stained glass, in addition to her commissioned endeavors. Her pieces have garnered attention and recognition through exhibitions and galleries throughout the UK.

She recently debuted her first solo exhibition at Home MCR, showcasing entirely new works that delve into themes of social justice, class, and gentrification within the Greater Manchester region.

Prior to any of the banner making we have all come to know and love from Tara. She worked as a Neon Sign Assembler, a role in which she honed her skills and nurtured a deep love for the enchanting properties of glass.

In a 2020, she decided to teach herself the art of stained glass, and soon began incorporating it into her repertoire alongside her textile pieces. With her evocative stained glass creations, Tara aspires to challenge the dated perceptions of the craft and breathe new life into the art form, making it accessible and appealing to a new generation.
