Paletas have their roots in 1940s Mexico, when Ignacio and Luis Alcázar, along with their cousin Agustín Andrade, began selling handmade frozen treats created using real fruit and fresh ingredients. Their success helped inspire thousands of paleterías across Mexico and beyond, bringing these refreshing, flavour-packed treats to communities around the world.
